OUR CLIENTS

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY

When it came to moving our production line to a new facility we engaged the services of Montip. Their knowledge of production line design and set-up meant that we could rely on them to disconnect the old line, upgrade elements of it and have it up and running in our new plant with minimal production downtime or disruption. It was great to have a partner we could count on to perform this turnkey service reliably and professionally.

Robotics & End of Line Automation Solution Video Demonstrations

High Speed Food Picker

The M-430iA is a handling robot series with 2kg payload, specially developed for food or pharmaceutical applications.

It offers high rates of continuous handling of objects, a clean, washable mechanical unit, and a chemical-resistant surface.

The M-430iA series offer a very large work envelope compared to other types of robots, thus providing high flexibility for cell design.

  • The M-430iA robots can be floor or ceiling mounted.

  • With no grease in the wrist axis there is no risk of contamination of grease on food.

Robotic Palletiser

This robotic palletising cell features a Fanuc M710 six axis robot mounted on a linear rail, which allows it to palletise four different products on to separate pallets simultaneously.

It is fitted with a custom made vacuum gripper to accommodate the different products.

Case Packing Robot using Line Tracking Technology

The line tracking robot is used to track and pick product which is travelling at random spaces on a conveyor.

The line tracking facility means that the product can be picked without having to be stopped. This reduces the need for specialised tooling and ensures simplified product changeover.

High Speed Food Picker using a vision system

The high speed picking robot is used in conjunction with the Fanuc Vision System.

It allows the cakes to be picked and placed at speeds of up to 100 units per minute. The cakes are placed at random on the conveyor by a second robot.

The vision system records the position of the cake on the conveyor and this is then tracked to the robot picking area by the line tracing encoder attached to the conveyor drive shaft.

This cell was set up as a demonstration unit for a packaging exhibition, but in a similar application Montip has five robots assembled in a single cell, which is picking a frozen product and placing it into a Rovima cartoning machine.
