Packaging Solutions
With wide experience in the packaging industry Montip is ideally equipped to maximise the efficiency of our client’s end of line packaging.
Our packaging solutions can be as simple as re-arranging existing manual packaging lines to achieve better product flow and thereby improve operator efficiency, or the installation of a simple pick and place unit at strategic positions along the line.
Montip also design and install fully automatic packaging lines, typically this will include the supply and installation of some of the following equipment which we source from our established suppliers.
Carton erectors, fillers and closers. Shrink wrappers. Labelling and coding equipment. Palletizers and pallet wrappers. Montip will also design and manufacture bespoke packaging equipment if suitable equipment is not currently available.

Conveyor Solutions
Montip supplies many different conveyor systems, some custom designed and others sourced from our preferred suppliers.
These include:
Stainless steel framed modular belt conveyors mainly used in the food and pharmaceutical industries, using Intralox and Uni Chain belting to ensure excellent hygiene and easy clean down.
Powered roller conveyors used for the transport of outer cases and returnable trays usually to end of line packaging equipment. The powered rollers are set up in zones to allow for accumulation on the line without causing back pressure on the product and thereby eliminating damage.

Plant Upgrade
Montip’s was established in 1996 to fulfil a customer need for re building and upgrading existing packaging machinery.
This remains an important part of our business today with many of our customers recognising the saving made by upgrading and modifying existing plants rather than purchasing new equipment.
Montip’s wide experience allows us to undertake both mechanical and control system upgrades, replacing old relay based systems with modern PLC’s and touch screens which provide full visualization of the process including recipes, adding new functionality to machine software.
Our software engineers regularly work with the following PLC’s:
Mitsubishi, Unitronics, Omron, GE Fanuc, Allen Bradley and many HMI packages.

Relocating Equipment Solutions
Montip has specialised equipment and expertise needed to relocate both process and packaging plant, having successfully completed many plant relocations for our clients.
These include complete yogurt production, meat packing, and cheese production plants.
Montip will undertake the complete project including the initial drawings of the existing layout, providing a layout drawing for the new location, removing, transporting, installing and re commissioning the plant at its new location.
As part of the re location our clients often take the opportunity to upgrade some of the equipment.
Should this be required Montip will undertake the upgrade and supply full documentation for the upgraded equipment.
